Our philosophy is simple: Creating easier access to contemporary art.

Arschive was founded by curator and contemporary art consultant Marta Mozzi after years working with artists, galleries, institutions and collectors across different cultural contexts.

That experience showed her the same problem from every side: contemporary art is treated like a closed club. Not because the art itself is exclusive, but because access to it (buying it, understanding it, feeling like you're allowed to engage with it) has been gated by money, insider knowledge, and social proximity to the art world. Meanwhile, most people's daily visual world is filled up with generic images. The gap between "people who live inside the art world" and "everyone else" is widening at the exact moment that gap matters more.

That's why we built Arschive around rental as the way in.

It's a low-risk way to live with authentic art, build a relationship with it, and figure out what you actually love before committing to owning it.

A piece arrives in your space. You live with it: on your wall, in your line of sight, every day. You find out if it's actually you, or if you just liked the idea of it. That's not something a gallery visit or a scroll through a website can give you.

Most people don't buy art because they've never been given the chance to live with it first. We give them that chance. And when they're ready, buying becomes the natural next step, not a separate leap.
