Values & Mission

We believe art is a way to engage with the world: to reflect, question, and imagine new possibilities.
Its value extends beyond what is on display, creating spaces for shared meaning, dialogue, and emotional connection.

Our mission is to enable art to circulate beyond traditional contexts and into lived environments, creating encounters that deepen engagement and understanding.

OUR STORY

ARSCHIVE was founded by contemporary art consultant and curator Marta Mozzi, born from a desire to broaden how art is experienced and where it can exist. After speding years working within the international art world, collaborating with galleries, artists, institutions and dealers across diverse cultural contexts, Marta recognised how art today continues to be framed predominantly within traditional and often hegemonic settings: galleries, fairs, institutions, or private collections.

Rather than positioning itself in opposition to these structures, Arschive is a system through which art can circulate more fluidly, working in dialogue with artists but also galleries and collectors, to expand both the meaning of the work and the audiences who encounter it.

This approach also extends to the range of artistic practices Arschive engages with. Alongside established forms, Arschive actively supports artistic practices and mediums that are often underrepresented.

From this understanding, Arschive was created with the idea of building a living archive, one that evolves through the people and contexts it meets. In fact, we believe art should move not only across space, but through conversations, people and time.
